Below "Answers" as a choice of buttons to hit is a moving ad

The design is made purposely to make your typing on their ad by accident almost unavoidable

— Today the ad is TD —

When I end up looking at any ad — Toronto Dominion bank included that they more or less tricked me into by the web page set up —

I feel just a little resentment to the people at Yahoo and the company that paid them to do this

TD — tricking people into going to your page does not lend itself well to my trusting a bank — If your willing to pay for a cheap trick like this what other cheap and or expensive tricks are you willing to pull —- To get me to do what you want —"by accident"
Angel of death

As long as your willing to accept free speech and free thought

TD — paid a lot of money to trick me into doing something I did not want to do — by making the web page the way they did I ended up where I did not want to be

TD pays Yahoo to pull cheap tricks — and they want me to trust them ?

If you do trust them — after such a simple a cheap transparent trick as this then I question your ability to perform free thought

And without free thought there can be no free speech —

So which corporation purchased you and yours ?

They’re annoying and I think they affect how by computer runs sometimes!

P.S. Hi Trout!

Meh. It was a free service anyway. With barely the flick of a wrist the ad is closed.

And just how do you think Yahoo makes money,it’s the Ads.If they didn’t,then all the stuff you get for Free from them(Like Answers) would not exist, would it?

They may have Chinese Communist Style Censorship procedures, but that are still a Capitalist Enterprise.Guess all the Communists, etc on Yahoo Answers will just have to learn to accept that.

Yes that’s why I use an adblocker(in firefox) and don’t see them. Advertising is pollution. I understand the reasoning behind them and there are worse examples I feel how this filth infiltrates our life but yes I resent advertisements. Most irritating example for me is how you are force fed commercials when you go to the movies and pay way too much as it is.

There’s virtually nowhere in the Western world where people are free of advertising. Almost any street, even in villages nowadays has at least a few billboards or there’s a truck parked displaying the mantra of our totalitarian state. Buy Buy Buy, consume, consume, consume

Yes, I’ve seen Verizon ads like that in the past, but even more annoying and disgusting than that are the moronic right-wing ads by Newsmax. Yahoo! doesn’t have a bias. Nooooooooooo!
