web site/page designer for mac?

hey everyone i have a macbook and my parents have website i want to try designing an extension.
so does anyone know of a good, simple and cheap web page/site designer?

i dont want to use iWeb bc that is $100 a year and thats just to much.

    Try a text editor – that’s all you need, since web pages are text.
